In the past few months there have been some major updates to OTRRpedia:
1. A very special thank you to Nick Palmer who shared his graphic designing skills in the redesign of the site!
2. The OTTER database is now imported into OTRRpedia with the additional feature that each episode is linked to its own webpage.
3. For each available episode, visitors can edit the information. We encourage you after you listen to an OTR episode that you enter information on that episode on OTRRpedia. Currently, many people are entering such information on various forums and/or blogs. We ask that as you place this information on your favorite forum and/or blog that you also consider placing this information also on OTRRpedia. If you are interested in doing this, please contact me using the email address episodes@otrrpedia.net for a username and password.
4. Check out the section on Dragnet where a lot of information culled from the OTRR First Lines Wiki has been entered for each episode. Additional information from the script has been added in episode #302. Will the people who added information to the OTRR First Lines Wiki on Dragnet please get in contact with me so their work can be acknowledged.
5. Information on OTRRpedia is stored in a database. As we have a lot of information that includes dates, we have constructed a new section, Radio Diary, that takes all the information on a particular date and displays it.
6. A search engine has been added for titles of programs and episodes and currently the search engine for people is being worked on by Chris Neylon and Paul Kornman. The variability in people's names (as Robert, Rob, Robbie, Bob, Bobby, Bobbie, etc.) makes this a very challenging project.
7. There are many others who have participated in the redesign of this website. Thanks to Randy Riddle for an outline on how the website could be built with episode information, Sue for suggestions and solving problems with the database, JimB for his support and encouragement and many others![/url]
