I HAD a multiply site which I closed down, as via 'Contacts' the spammers got hold of my email and it got very heavy! I am attempting a second try,
but this time I am allowing NO contacts, so feel free to have a look, help yourself to anything there,but please do NOT ask me to be your 'contact' as I am not allowing it,this time.

As some of you will know, I used to include the 'new' MUltiply site in my signature.No longer, because (for different reasons!) the site no longer exists, I have taken it down!

Charles, no, no spam of any kind because I did not allow contacts! What happened was the same as others have commented on on the forums here and elsewhere; a few folk I know tried to download stuff from my site and the files came down as 'zero' ie nothing! I contacted Multiply who claimed it was fixed.One friend managed to download a few bits then It went again. This continued for a few days and then I decided enough was enough, and dumped the site! I envy those like Ian, who have had no problems of any sort, but I have other things to do in my life, than constantly re-upload stuff!
Thats why I also ditched MediaMadness. I know some swear by it, but the service has deteriorated, and when they finally LOST all of my files, I dumped them.I will keep an eye on what you guys say, and if it picks up, I may try again, but it will take a bit of convincing after the fiasco of the past eight months or so! Anyway there are lots of good alternatives appearing all the time, it seems....

Wayne...yeah, and I'm really disappointed in what's happened with Multiply, lately...since things seemed to be going so well. After checking several of my OTR folders, and finding 0 or 1 kbs for quite a few files, I get
nervous, wondering where I will find them again, or even who posted them to begin with! I also found that when I do a repeat download, using "download all with DAP", it doesn't replace the files, it only adds another one...so this means I have 4 files with the same name, and 0 bytes  At least, with a right click, it tells you that the file is "already there".

Sorry to hear you dumped your M site, Luthien.
Glad I grabbed those Tibetian music files off of it before you did.
I love the three tones, high, medium, low. And I like to put the 2 songs on repeat and sit in the shade reading a book while listening to them. (Closest I get to meditation, I guess)
So, you'll have to pick up something like MediaFire and put links here?
